Well we are on the downhill side of the rodeo year. The 2008 regular rodeo season will come to an end at the end of September with the Heartland Finals and Tour Championship in Dallas counting toward the 2008 standings. I am in the middle of the pack right now but I am looking to have a very profitable August and September to secure my spot in this year’s NFR. Be sure to check my rodeo schedule to see where I will be next.
It has been an interesting summer with the skyrocketing price of fuel. I have noticed that more guys are starting to travel with more people to try and divide the costs up a few more ways. My family was able to fly out in mid-July to spend a week with me, which was nice. It won’t be long now until the girls will be back in school. The summer seems to have just flown by. Hopefully, everyone has enjoyed their summer.
That is about all that is new from the Whitfield camp.
